The Color of a Rose

Did you know that emotions can be expressed with roses?  Although roses are a wonderful flower to receive anytime of the year, rose colors are often associated with specific emotions.  Additionally, a combination of different color roses can also express your feelings through flowers! Therefore, in selecting roses for someone, you will want to put some careful consideration into the color of the roses you choose.

The color of red roses signifies universal love, veneration, valor, romantic love, and splendor.  Consequently, red roses are the most popular flower for Valentine’s Day.  Plus, more meaning can be derived from the actual shade of red that you select.  For example, the color of deep reddish-purple roses signifies enduring desire and the color of vividly red roses indicates awe-inspired longing and deep, everlasting love.

The color of orange or coral colored roses takes on a slightly different meaning than red roses.  The color of orange roses suggests a milder form of desire than the color of a red rose implies.  This is due to the fact that the color orange is a diluted form of red.  Thus, in choosing the color of an orange rose to express your intentions, you are expressing yourself in a subtler fashion.

Similar to the color of orange roses, pink roses are a diluted form of red and convey subtler messages of love.  The color of pink roses can also express admiration, elegance, refinement, beauty, poise, and kindness.  As a result, the color of pink roses can adequately convey acts of friendship, charity, or even consummate love.

The color of a yellow rose suggests cheerfulness, closeness, companionship, delight, independence, modesty, shyness, and virtue.  The color of a yellow rose can express your gratitude for the friendship you have with an individual or even express your happiness.  Consequently, yellow roses are excellent for birthdays, weddings, and for moments when you just want to express your joy!

The color of purple roses implies a number of things, depending on the depth of the hue.  For instance, a lavender rose can suggest a subtle, lingering desire for an individual, while the color of dark purple roses implies that you are intensely in love with an individual.  Therefore, in choosing the color of purple for your floral purchase, you will be telling an individual how much you love them!

The color of white roses often suggests admiration, appreciation, honor, respect, and virtue.  Also, due to the fact that the color white is actually a combination of all colors in the light spectrum, white tends to stand as a universal color.  Thus, when in doubt about what color of roses to purchase for someone on any particular occasion, the color of white roses can always express your feelings accurately!

Combinational colors do not escape the act of expressing your feelings.  In fact, when you purchase a number of roses of varying color, you immediately begin expressing several emotions.  Hence, you will want to be sure that your selected floral combination expresses exactly how you feel!

The color of a single red rose immediately says that you love someone.  Equally, the color of a single red rose can express to an individual that you feel that they are the most important person in your life.  Finally, the color of a single red rose can imply that a person is extremely special and that they are the only individual for you!

By combining two red roses, you can express your desire to marry!  The color of each rose represents each individual in your relationship.  Thus, in combining two red roses, you express the desire to want to bring your love together by marrying!  Consequently, red roses become ideal for weddings and anniversaries!

By combining white and red roses in your floral arrangement, you immediately imply a sense of harmony and oneness with an individual.  Remember, the color of red roses primarily suggests deep love, while the color of white roses implies reverence and honor.  Consequently, in mingling both white and red roses in your arrangement, you are expressing your contentment with a relationship.  Thus, such a combination is excellent for weddings and anniversaries!

Finally, by mingling the color of yellow roses with those of the color red, you instantly express an immeasurable sense of joy!  The color red is associated with strength and the color yellow is often linked to happiness!  So, if you want to express your joy, this floral combination is precisely what you need to do so!
